Abstract

Abstract

Benghazi faces multiple environmental and natural challenges that directly affect the business environment, particularly entrepreneurial projects which require a stable and secure setting for growth and expansion. This study aims to analyze the impact of environmental and natural phenomena on entrepreneurial projects in the city by combining theoretical analysis with a field study of a sample of local entrepreneurs. The findings reveal that environmental factors—especially rising temperatures, drought, and flooding—significantly affect the continuity and efficiency of these projects. It was also found that there is variation in environmental awareness and preparedness for disasters among project owners. The study concludes with several recommendations, most notably the need to enhance environmental awareness and training programs, and to provide governmental and community support for environmentally oriented projects
