Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of work-related stress on employees' job performance at the Social Solidarity Fund, Fezzan Branch. The study delves into key concepts and theories related to work-related stress, its influence on job performance, and strategies for alleviating this stress. A descriptive analytical methodology was employed, using questionnaires to collect data from 90 employees from various departments.

The findings revealed a statistically significant negative relationship between work-related stress and job performance. High levels of stress stemming from excessive workload and high-performance expectations, lead to a decline in job performance, concentration, and attentiveness. Additionally, institutional factors such as resource scarcity, administrative complexities, and internal conflicts significantly contribute to increased stress levels among employees.

The study also found that implementing specific strategies to alleviate work-related stress can significantly enhance job performance. These strategies include fostering social support among colleagues and management, improving the work environment, providing continuous training and development programs to enhance employee skills, improving time management, and offering psychological support.

In conclusion, the study emphasizes the importance of adopting these recommendations to create a supportive and positive work environment, which in turn improves job performance, increases productivity, and enhances job satisfaction among employees at the Social Solidarity Fund, Fezzan Branch
