The role of university technology business incubators in achieving sustainable development from the perspective of faculty members in Libya

The study aimed to identify the goals of sustainable development, their dimensions and challenges, the role of university education in Libya, learn about university technological incubators and their role in achieving sustainable development, and identify the requirements necessary for the success of university technological incubators in Libya. To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive approach was used, and for the purpose of collecting data, a A survey list consisting of 30 items, and the study sample consisted of 281 faculty members at Libyan universities. The study reached a number of results, including:
- That there are a number of basic goals that technology business incubators in Libya must strive to achieve, with an average of (4.36), and that the Chi-square values for all statements were statistically significant at the level of (0.01).
- The factors that drive the success of technology business incubators in Libya had an overall average of (4.45) and that the Chi-square values for all statements were statistically significant at the level of (0.01).
- There are some proposals through which university technology business incubators can be used to achieve sustainable development in Libya. With an average of (4.36), the Chi-square values for all statements were statistically significant at the level of (0.01).
- The results of the correlation and regression analyzes revealed between activating the role of university technology incubators in Libya and achieving the sustainable development goals, according to the opinions of the sample under study, where the correlation coefficient reached .900**.0 at a significant level of .000, which confirms the significance of the relationship at a significant level 0.01.
